Let's Get Off This Sad Train

Okay, I'm terribly sorry about the melancholy mood of the blog as of late. You can certainly understand, but we all know that is not my nature. So let's go, and get off this sad train, and have some fun, shall we? I borrowed this from Carli, thanks to her, and I think it should conjure up some wickedly fun comments.

Please comment below, and include your favorite memory of me. I realize some of us haven't met, or haven't seen each other in years, so feel free to make something up, or to reference your favorite post of mine. I realize this may take some work, but I need some serious comment mojo right about now.

It's sad to think that I have always known who you were but until last year, we never really had done anything together. My favorite memory is when you and Sean and your kids came up and stayed the night in your trailer in our driveway. We also made a late night trip to Walmart that night and I got to know you a little better.

Although the best part was when you texted me to let Jake and me know that we had "rubbed" off on you on your trip to Yellowstone. : )

OK!!! I've got a funny :) It isn't exclusive to you but to your family. I also wasn't going to share this memory with the whole world, wouldn't want just anyone to hear. But....I'll share it here.

Noteable: Who can forget the many FUll MOONS we were privledged to see on our many waterskiing trips. Full moons do look best over the water you know. Do you remember or were you to young and not easliy impressed? (If you need a memory jog ask the fam) I believe I witnessed my first full moon of this variety in the presence of your family. (Oh, and can't forget the presence of Stevie and FRED)

    Can anyone say HIT IT!!

I don't have a lot Keli but I remember hanging out when Emma was just a baby! Wow! Now's she's what 9? You doing my hair in your basement and me being in labor with Ali. I had to have my hair done though. I'm sure one of Trev's memories of Sean would be him (sean) drinking the milk of magnesia (the entire bottle) on the mission and then having to wake up in the middle of the night and run to the bathroom!

Hmmmm I have known a LONG time. I remember the first day of 3rd grade at Rosamond - Did you go to Riverton Elementary? If you did, I never met you until Rosamond. I remember thinking that you and Roberta Hightower were so athletic. "I'll never be that cool." I remember thinking to myself. I was also so jealous of how cute and blonde your hair was. We also had Adult Roles together at Bingham. Ahhh good times. When I found out you were waiting for Sean while he was on his mission. I remember thinking "Keli's too cute for a CLAYTON!" hahahahaha
    Love you guys!

Member Aspen three years ago...that was when we really bonded. Running out of gas at 1 am, exploring Glenwood Springs, lunch (you told me about Europe), gelato, the really strange day spa. Hello vapor caves. I keep remembering that trip because it was in July and right now it's July- you see the correlation.

Then remember the time I tried to flip the praying mantis off you but really flipped it into your face? That was crazy.

Hmm, there have been tons of crazy times; those were just two little memories.

Oh where do I start? We have tortured you with all the great Keli moments the last few weeks. The fireworks up your nightgown, crying until you got to ride in Stevie's boat, broken foot because you walked on the side of it for a week before Mom would take you to the dr, the T-bone steak hit to the head. You definately gave us all a good laugh. But who could ever forget the time you were at Dixie and Sam Brown took the green Nissan to Vegas and Mandi called Mom because she was so worried about you. She totally busted you! That was funny!

Oquirrh Hills Middle School. That's where my first memories of ME BEING JEALOUS OF YOU began! Oh, it was in P.E. and you were like the best gymnast around! I remember you on the balance beam. I seriously thought you and Brenda were the greatest gymnasts on this planet! My twin brother had a crush on you. Don't tell Sean, they were like best buddies for a while there!

OK I've got one---Remember the good 'ol days of the deer hunt? We had to put our porta-potty out in the tent because we didn't have a bathroom in the trailer--unlike your motorhome. You must have been about 4 yrs. old, when I saw you coming out of the tent you said "I like your potty better 'cause it's little like me!" You were so dang cute! I'm sure I can think of more deer hunting stories if I take my Ginkoboloba (how ever you spell it, I can't see to read anymore either)

Keli, Keli, Keli....so its been what 4 months that we have really known each other as neighbors? Of course you remember the first playdate at my house with the kids. You know, the play food and all the silly sculptures you were making ;)?

    Keli,
I don't have any memories with you, sniff, sniff. You are much too young for me! I have memories with Jill and Troy. Also, I never made it on a cruise with you because you had your baby and had to miss the last one, but I am positive that we would have had some awesome memories because you are so dang stinkin' funny. I didn't realize it till I got to know you this last year. You crack me up all the time and you are so friendly and easy to like!

Remember that one time, you commented on my blog, and then I commented on your blog? And then we became blog buddies? That was awesome!

There are so many... Sliding down the stairs on the gymnastic mats, Europe, and learning to drive in the your Miata and almost hitting a mailbox. One I remember the most was when I got to stay with you at Dixie. I had so much fun, and thought you were the coolest person ever! (because you are, right?)

    Keli,
I have been thinking about you the past couple of weeks. Not in the psycho stalker kinda way. :) I noticed your blog on Carli's and thought I would drop you a line. I hope you receive the comfort you need in such a difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you! Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help... big or small.

Well, I remember you from elementary school even though I was 2 years younger, but I remember you being Karen's age. I didn't really get to know you until our hubbies worked together at Back to Basics. It was fun swimming at Bob's (I think that's his name) house and just hanging out with you! I love it when I see you in passing at the Brookwood ward or at a wedding. Your smile and laugh always light up a room.

Keli, I just found you! I remember you cutting my hair many a time down in your basement. And one time when I came over and your big girly had just puked all over the exersaucer, which you threw away. I was momentarily appalled (the cheap side of me, anyway), but I would have done the same thing.
