    Question

Sugar Daddy and I have an ongoing "discussion" about something.

Who is responsible for changing the empty toilet paper roll?

Is it the person who uses the last bit, or the next person to sit down? I say if you use the last of it, you should be courteous to the next person and replace it. He says if you sit down and there's no TP, you're SOL, so it's your responsibility to look before sitting.

    Who's right?

I am on your side Keli, I think that you use it up you replace it.. Why should the next person be responsible for what you did? My husband and I have the exact some conversation, so he leaves like one little tiny square just to make sure he doesn't have to replace it.. SOLUTION.. I got these darling baskets and filled them with toilet paper rolls and put them in every bathroom..

I'm also on your side. It is all about replacing it when you're finished (that was totally our rule growing up!). I do try to keep extra rolls nearby though so it's not a huge hassle. =)

To me it's nowhere near being a debate. Maybe I have such strong feelings because Matt literally never replaces the roll. The closest he'll come is, maybe 25% of the time he'll get a new roll out, use it, then place it on top of the holder thing, without of course actually putting it on the holder or removing the tube from the old roll.

To me, it's like putting the toilet seat down. Sure you don't NEED to. (We always have new rolls in both bathrooms so it's never an emergency.) But it is something that civilized people do when they are thinking of the next person who will need to use the facility.

Then again I am also a little OCD about putting the toilet seat down. It just looks WT to me for the toilet to be all open like that with both seats up. Luckily I got Matt in that habit long ago. When we were first married and I realized he left it up out of habit, I remember thinking to myself, "So there are actually people who leave the toilet seat up, it's not just like something they joke about on stupid TV shows?"

This has always been a "thing" with us. Even with extra rolls in the bathroom, I feel like I'm always the one putting the new roll on, regardless of who finished the last one.

Although, Sean never leaves the seat up. Ever. I don't know if he even puts the seat up. He does, however, drip on the floor, which thoroughly disgusts me. Was that too much information again? Maybe I should get my filter checked.

Dude... Keli. You should just use the roll when you need it, then stash it back under the counter...

Keli, I agree with you. Many times I have been woken up from the sound of my kids yelling there is no toilet paper. Men must think it's a "girl" job.

Men have this all figured out ... youe see when we sit down to do our business we know that there will be some paperwork ... do you know any men who don't look before they get to work?

Moral of the story: "Wax on Wax off ... Danielson"

Although my personal peave is when I am done with my business and I realize that someone else has gotten into and used up my secret stash of wet wipes. I am sure that N8ster would agree.

Do we all own a secret stash of moist wipes? And why do we keep them secret? Are we ashamed? Seriously, think about it. If a bird pooped on your arm, would you take a dry towel and wipe it off and consider that a job well done? Wouldn't you feel better about a nice wet cloth to get off any residue? I'm just saying....

Keli, we are on your side. Troy and I both always replace the TP when it's gone. And if we notice it is almost gone we get another one out. Sorry Sean, but you are WRONG!

    Wet wipes??

This, my friends, is not a prob when you live alone. Although, if you forget to get a new roll out, you're SOL.

This is good reading, fo reals! And it is soooo the last person to use up the tp to replace it.

Dude... just be careful on how many wipes you flush... It could cause a back up. Learn from my mistakes people. Learn.
