Hell has frozen over
Look at this. I have become domestic. Scary.
Yes, it's a new sewing machine. I was inspired by a friend of mine who has a cute scripture bag made from a place mat. So cute! And now that I live so far away, sniff sniff, from Mom C's sewing expertise, I figured it was time I start on my own. The thing I love the most about this model, is the speed control. It will sew at the slowest speed for beginners, so I can teach the girls how to sew. I've already fixed a pair of garments, and I plan on doing some tights later today. I'll certainly post any crafts I make!

Thats awesome!
I need to get one too. I am always fixing stuff by hand, takes forever and is annoying. This weekend I had to make/sew Noah's new sleeping bag with my mom's sewing machine.
I am so proud. I would love the pattern to that. Sounds cute.
Holy crap, I can't believe you did it! I think the frozen North has done something to your brain....
we are so on the same page,I made a quilt this weekend for pity's sake. Who does that?
Now all you need is a serger! Once you use one of those, sewing becomes fun. I'm still waiting on mine.....
congratulations! Have fun!
I would die to have a serger too!! Ah that would be total heaven.
I don't get it... How do you open cans with it? It's kinda big for a can opener???
Our ward made the scripture bags and they are very cute.
I love the machine. Someday my mom will make good on her threat to take my machine back (she claims she never gave it to me) and then I will have to finally buy one for myself.
