    Can I just say....

Bed Rest SUCKS! There is no "rest" involved. It is way more stressful to figure out how you're going to get laundry done, the kids dropped off and picked up, the dishes done, the cobwebs swept, and fix breakfast, lunch and dinner for a family, all from the confines of ones couch or bed! Thank heavens Sean has a job that allows him to be flexible. Meanwhile, the blood pressure is stable, but we're hoping for a delivery date sometime next week. This week is just to fatten up the little fetus so she's nice and cute when she arrives.

Moral of this story: Don't be afraid to be VERY proactive with healthcare. Had I not "known" something wasn't right, I would very possibly be endagering my baby by wandering around with BP through the roof! Second opinions save lives, people!

Wow! Is this the same doctor that you have had before? I am glad that youwere proactive. I have to secretly admit that I loved bed rest for the first week. I had no guilt to sit and watch a whole season of Alias in 2 days. The second week was a little boring. It's a good thing that we have husbands!

i was never on official bed rest for my placent previa - my doctor knew i had 3 other kids and it wasn't going to happen - so he told me to "take it easy". luckily he has 9 kids, so he was sympathetic.

and i agree you have to be in charge of your healthcare.

you usually know what's best for you.

oh and be sure and get your $50,000 at iawqlp's website - don't want to let that one get by.

I had to get a new doc with this pregnancy, which I wasn't thrilled about. He's nice enough, just kinda busy and over scheduled. Sean's been so good to do everything, and so far I think we're covered. It's hard to not feel guilty letting him do "my job" though. But I know it's for the best!

Oh, and Bonny, I'm totally getting the $50,000 at the website. You know I wouldn't want to miss out on that!

Jake, it was just a spam comment that I deleted. They were offering me $50,000, which I'm sure it totally legit. Ha ha ha.

    Keli-
Good luck. I don't know how you do it (or should I say don't do anything). It would drive me nuts! You are a trooper and we're glad you are willing to put up with so much. You are awesome!
