Mother's Day Week
Last year I did posts for each day during the week before Mother's Day. This year I'm doing it again. As in, I'm copying and pasting my posts from last year. I'm so motivated.
Honestly, it has a lot more to it than that. I'm seriously dreading Mother's Day this year. I don't have a mother anymore. I don't have her to call and say "I love you" to, or in my case, apologize for being the best.daughter.ever.
As I look back on my posts from last year, I remember thinking it was imperative that I honor my own mother by revealing all the things motherhood has taught me. Maybe a little inspired? Probably.
So sit back and enjoy this weeks posts all about being a mother.

Why I love being a mother
- It makes me do things I would otherwise never have courage to do.
- It makes me see things from a smaller, more innocent perspective.
- It makes me more confident in my decision making skills.
- It makes me rely on faith and promptings in a way I have never known.
- It makes me stick to my guns, and stick up for my kids.
- It makes me see how lucky I am to have healthy, happy kids.
- It makes me appreciate my own mother more than ever.

I wonder what I said last year to this?
I love being a mother because it gives me a sense of worth and value.
My kids confirm my efforts.
And I love being a grandmother!! Grandkids love you without reservation - I love that!
And I hope you can focus this week on so many good memories about your own mom that you will not feel so lost without her!! I suspect this will always be a tough holiday for you, so my prayers will be with you for comfort and peace!
I am TOTALLY dreading Mother's Day this year. In fact, I couldn't even talk about it yesterday at church without tears coming to my eyes. This is going to be a hard one for all of us, but it will be a giant hurdle.
Although I am not a mother....yet, I do know motherhood will make me appreciate my mother, AND my sisters so much! You guys have been such great examples of what a mother should be, and now, more than ever, I will have to learn from you.
I love you, and miss you SO MUCH!
Being a mom is the best! I hope you make it through the week okay Keli and that you are able to remember all the awesome times you had with your mom and see in yourself all the things she taught you as you take care of your family.
first of all, you still very much have a mother. Hang in there, this week is for you to celebrate HER and yourself as well.
I love being a mother. I love all parts of it, even the vomit that has become my new best friend.
I think my favorite part so far is how he gets upset when I leave the room or even walk away. I love that this little person loves me and depends on me SO MUCH that he can't stand to even lose sight of me for one minute.
I love it more now than ever before. Going through the past year I have learned to not take any of those special moments for granted. I love being a mother!
