    A little info

My minivan just turned 60000 miles. This is the most miles I've ever had on a vehicle. And this is also the longest I've ever owned one vehicle. I'd like to buy another, but a car payment just doesn't sound fun. I enjoy having extra money for Wal-Mart.

But it makes me wonder...What kind of cars do my reader(s) drive? I'll start.

    03 Honda Odyssey
05 Dodge Ram (Git 'er dun!)

    Now you.

1999 Merc Sedan (don't know what kind)- diesel - 75K miles

    2000 Ford F-150 - 120k miles

2007 Merc GL - diesel - 20K miles (this car is 6 months old!!! I think this means I am spending far too much time in my car)

and I agree to no car payments.

2002 Civic-101k miles. Love the great gas mileage

2001 Liberty-70k miles. Love this car, but not so great gas mileage

We would LOVE to go buy new cars-but would HATE the payment. I think I would rather just buy clothes and cute stuff for my house.

07' Dodge MegaCab 32K but been in shop 3 times since Thanksgiving.

03' Jetta TDI Volkswagons don't count on miles because they are so damn expensive to fix new or old.

I drove a brand new Jeep Comander today while my Truck was once again at the dealership. It was awesome. I really liked it so maybe I will take a look.

I'd throw myself a party if I drove a car with less than 100k on it.

04 Chevy TrailBlazer 106K (we bought it from my parents, they are drivers)

00 Jeep Cherokee with a big fat lift, 100k+

we like our cars to have a little age and experience in them I guess.

I love to brag about our 96 Nissan Maxima. Bought it in 2003 with 75K on it...it turned 200K this summer. That is what I call driving a car into the ground! It's still running great! We decided we're not getting another car until (a) it dies or (b) we're too embarrassed to be seen in it, whichever happens first.

None of the windows will go down anymore, the dome light is long gone, CD player dead, and the passanger window is jimmied with an ice-scraper so it will stay up. Supergabers will NEVER will buy American again.

Drive them until they die, that's our motto. Then call Salvation Army to haul them away for free...or sell it by the pound or parts.
